Drew's Desk: the whole Week 6 board, and a Seminole picks Louisville

Wednesday, we have Jacksonville State traveling to Kennesaw State. Kennesaw State is still having trouble adjusting to FBS football years later. Give me Jacksonville State on the road.

We have New Mexico State traveling to FIU to face Willie Simmons and the FIU Panthers. FIU at home.

Thursday, we have Sam Houston State heading to Liberty. Give me Liberty, baby. Sam Houston State looks terrible this season.

We have the battle of the one-win teams as Missouri State travels to Western Kentucky. Honestly, if I had the ability to pick neither team, I would, because they both absolutely suck. But we're going with Missouri State on the road.

Next, we have the battle of the four-win teams as the University of South Florida travels to UTSA, the University of Texas at San Antonio. Give me UTSA at home, baby.

We have South Alabama at 3-2 traveling to struggling 2-3 Arkansas State. Give me South Alabama on the road.

On Friday, we have the Seminoles of Florida State facing Louisville. Louisville is at a surprising 2-3 on the season, and Jeff Brohm has some decisions to make. But you know what? Give me the home team, baby. We have Louisville.

We have No. 20 Iowa, coming off a loss at Ohio State, traveling to the Washington Huskies. You know what? Give me the Hawkeyes, baby. Washington is not looking great this season, and Jedd Fisch is getting exposed.

Next, we have Washington State traveling to Utah State in another battle of one-win teams. Utah State has looked terrible this season. This has to be the worst team Bronco Mendenhall has had as a Division I head coach. Utah State will not turn it around this season. Give me Washington State on the road.

We have Wyoming traveling to 3-2 San Jose State. If you've been following Drew's Desk, you know we picked San Jose State over Hawai'i last week. This week, San Jose State takes it again, baby.

To end Friday night, we have Iowa State traveling to Provo, Utah, where Bear Bachmeier has the folks screaming Heisman. Will Bear light it up for another week? Absolutely. Give me BYU at home to remain undefeated.

Jump forward to Saturday. We have Indiana traveling to Nebraska. Give me Indiana on the road to remain undefeated.

We have Texas A&M traveling to No. 14 Missouri. Give me Missouri at home. Austin Simmons will continue to light it up for Eli Drinkwitz.

We have UCF traveling to Oklahoma State, who are surprisingly ranked after their Week 1 loss at Tulsa. This is going to be a close game. But you know what? Give me UCF on the road, baby.

Next, we have North Carolina heading over to Pittsburgh to face the undefeated Panthers. Unfortunately, Pittsburgh lost their starting quarterback to an injury last week. Bill Belichick will capitalize. Give me North Carolina. Give me Bill Belichick and give me his hot 20-something-year-old girlfriend, because Carolina is bringing the dub on home, baby.

Next, we have Arizona traveling to West Virginia, who has suddenly started looking like the West Virginia of last year. They started the year off 3-0, and suddenly two consecutive losses has everyone fearing West Virginia is not going to be able to turn it around under Rich Rod. But you know what? They'll turn it around, but not this week, baby. Give me Arizona on the road.

We have 4-1 Wake Forest traveling to NC State, which is still reeling from that last-second loss to Vanderbilt. Give me NC State at home, and CJ Bailey will light it up.

Next, we have Tulane traveling to Army. Give me Tulane on the road.

In another battle of one-win teams, we have Sacramento State traveling to face Eddie George and Bowling Green. Bowling Green picked up a road win last week for their first win of the season. This week, they get win number two at home, baby. Give me Bowling Green.

We have 1-4 Ball State traveling to 3-1 Northwestern. They're going to get the balls beat out of their state, baby. Give me Northwestern at home.

We have 2-3 South Carolina traveling to No. 16 Florida, who looked terrible last week at Missouri, baby. Give me Florida at home.

We have Old Dominion traveling to App State. Give me App State at home.

We have Miami of Ohio at 2-3 traveling to 4-1 UMass. Give me UMass at home.

We have undefeated Texas traveling to Oklahoma for the Red River Rivalry. Give me Texas. It's going to start heating up in Oklahoma, and Brent Venables better be careful. Also look out for a quarterback change in the second half for Oklahoma. They need a spark, but they're not getting it this week.

We have 2-3 Stanford traveling to 5-0 Notre Dame. Vegas has it at 38 and a half points. And you know what? Vegas is right. Notre Dame is going to win, and they're going to win big, baby.

We have 3-2 Vanderbilt hosting Ole Miss. Give me Trinidad Chambliss and Ole Miss. One of our games of the week.

We have undefeated UCLA traveling to Oregon. This game will be tight. We just don't know what version of Oregon will show up, and we don't know if Dante Moore will be playing or if they'll be going with Dylan Raiola. Either way, give me UCLA. Bob Chesney is showing out in LA.

We have 4-1 Houston traveling to 3-1 Kansas State. As much as I want to pick Kansas State, Avery Johnson has choked big time over the years in these types of games. Give me Houston on the road.

We have undefeated Duke traveling to Georgia Tech. Give me Manny Diaz. Give me Duke to remain undefeated this season.

We have 4-1 Virginia Tech traveling to 2-3 Cal. Virginia Tech lost a heartbreaker, a missed last-second field goal against Pittsburgh last week. But this week they bounce back. Give me Tech on the road.

We have the battle of the 2-3 teams as Illinois travels to Michigan State. Both teams are surprisingly not where they should be right now, especially Illinois coming off a fantastic year last year, baby. But this week they bounce back and hand Michigan State loss number four. Give me Illinois on the road.

We have winless Charlotte traveling to 3-2 North Texas. Give me North Texas at home.

We have 3-2 Tulsa traveling to 1-3 Navy. Navy is favored by Vegas. Why? Tulsa has looked great this season. Give me Tulsa on the road.

We have 3-3 Eastern Michigan traveling to 1-4 Akron. Give me those Michigan boys on the road.

We have 2-3 Buffalo traveling to 4-1 Toledo. Give me Toledo at home.

We have the battle of the 3-2 teams as Central Michigan travels to Ohio. Who do we pick this week? It's a toss-up. But always go with the home team, baby. Give me Ohio at home.

We have 2-3 Kent State going up against 3-2 Western Michigan. A lot of people thought Western Michigan was going to keep that momentum from Week 1, where they nearly defeated the Wolverines. But you know what? I like Western Michigan.

We have 2-3 UConn traveling to 2-3 Temple. Give me Temple at home.

We have 1-4 Rice traveling to 2-2 East Carolina. Give me East Carolina at home.

We have 2-3 Maryland traveling to 4-1 Ohio State. This could certainly be termed the last game of Mike Locksley's tenure as head coach of Maryland. Ohio State wins, and they win big. And unfortunately for Mike Locksley, one of the most likable guys in the sport, his head coaching career comes to an end.

We have No. 15 Tennessee traveling to Arkansas. Give me Tennessee on the road.

We have 2-3 San Diego State traveling to 3-2 Oregon State. I like San Diego State with the upset, baby.

In another game of the week, we have 4-1 LSU traveling to 4-1 Kentucky. Kentucky is coming off a two-point conversion win at South Carolina last week, and they're going to look good this week. But give me LSU on the road.

We have 3-2 UAB traveling to 4-1 Memphis. Charles Huff has Memphis and the Tigers huffing and puffing. UAB is going to look good, but give me Memphis to pull out the win at home with a high-scoring second half.

We have 1-3 Nevada traveling to 1-4 UTEP. Nevada, they've proven me wrong this season. After running wild in Week 1, they have laid egg after egg, and they have lost my trust. Give me UTEP at home.

We have undefeated North Dakota State traveling to UNLV in what will certainly be a slobberknocker. Give me North Dakota State on the road.

We have 1-4 Coastal Carolina traveling to 3-2 Marshall. Give me Marshall.

In what is certainly the game of the week, No. 2 Georgia travels to No. 6 Alabama. Keelon Russell looks great, but so does Georgia. This is going to be a battle that comes down to the last minute. Who's going to pull it off? Give me Alabama at home.

We have No. 19 USC traveling to Penn State. Surprisingly, Penn State is a point and a half favorite. But you know what? I think USC's defense tightens up this week. Give me USC on the road.

We have 2-2 Syracuse traveling to 3-2 Virginia. Give me Virginia at home.

We have 3-1 Air Force traveling to winless Northern Illinois. Give me Air Force, baby.

We have undefeated James Madison traveling to 2-3 Georgia Southern. Give me Sun Belt Billy Napier and JMU on the road.

We have 4-1 Louisiana traveling to 2-2 Louisiana Tech. This is the battle of Louisiana, but the Ragin' Cajuns will pull it off on the road.

We have a surprising 4-1 Minnesota traveling to Purdue. Minnesota is coming off probably the biggest win of the P.J. Fleck tenure. I like Minnesota on the road.

We have 2-2 Kansas traveling to No. 12 Utah. Utah is undefeated and will remain so. Quarterback Devon Dampier looks great. Utah is a problem, and they will have no problem handling Kansas.

We have 1-4 Hawai'i traveling to 2-2 Arizona State. Hawai'i has looked terrible this season. What's going on in Honolulu, baby? Give me Arizona State and give me the Sun Devils.

Finally, the last game of the night: 4-1 Boise State traveling to 4-1 Fresno State. This will be a late-night slobberknocker, but I like Boise State on the road.
